Getting Crafty with Desrae’s Designs

If you are anything like me, you have tons of great ideas and visions about how to organize your house, declutter your bathroom, or  keep the kids playroom clean! Well, I had just that, lots of ideas on how to keep my house in order but that was the problem they were just ideas. Between taking care of my family, running my business, school, swimming, soccer, gymnastics, play dates, (you get my point) my “free time” was pretty much non existent.  A couple weeks ago,  I was day dreaming of a neat and organized playroom where I could walk through free and clear of  tiaras, princess dresses, and hard plastic shoes (those shoes never failed to disappoint -dim lights meant a sharp spike in the foot-awesome!) I thought to myself I need some sort of dress up storage center.  Hello Pinterest!!!  Browsing through the site, I found a lot of  dress centers, but one style caught my eye and I knew I had to have it. This was my solution and it was different than all the others I have seen. I  immediately called my friend Desrae who has this ridiculously AMAZING talent of taking old furniture, refinish it, and make it look brand new.  I asked her if she had any old dressers laying around that she was planning to refinish and she sends me this.

Perfect, that will work great! I tell her my thoughts on the most perfect storage center for my daughters princess gear and she tells me to give her a week.  One week later she delivers this:

OMG! OMG! OMG! It’s even better than I had hoped! My daughter is obsessed and even better, my play room has been restored!
